Members of the Kentucky House of Representatives have a direct impact on Kentucky businesses, workers and consumers through their deliberations and enactment of the state’s multi-billion dollar budget, and through legislation on issues including taxes, workers’ compensation, the state education system and its publicly funded colleges and universities, public infrastructure planning and improvements, health care issues, local government guidelines and more.  In many ways, members of the General Assembly have the potential to have the most immediate impact on the daily lives of all Kentuckians.
